CHEMTREC’s International Hazmat Summit will take place from September 12-14, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and will be honoring the past, present and future of the hazmat industry. The event will provide a one-of-a-kind forum for all interested parties involved in the safe transportation, handling, and use of hazardous materials, including shippers, carriers, and emergency and spill clean-up responders. Including both technical and professional development content, the 3-day Summit will be the premier destination to discuss the key topics of today and the trends of tomorrow.

CHEMTREC, the world’s leading emergency hazmat response service provider, has appointed William Erny, previously Senior Director with the American Chemistry Council, to lead the organization's regulatory and strategic alliance initiatives. 

In August, The American Chemistry Council was fortunate to have Bruce Samuelsen sign on as the new Chief Executive of CHEMTREC. Samuelsen comes to CHEMTREC with over 20 years of experience with SERCO where he acted most recently as Chief Growth Officer and previously as Senior Vice President, International Maritime Programs, in which capacity he was responsible for overseeing mergers and acquisitions and leading business development and capture across Serco's North America division and its defense and fed-civ accounts.
