Whilst we can manage the vast majority of calls we receive on your behalf, there could be instances where further product information is required, over and above what is contained in you SDS. US legislation (49 CFR §172.604 ) requires that the emergency number should allow access to a person who is either knowledgeable of the hazardous material being shipped and has comprehensive emergency response and incident mitigation information for that material, or has immediate access to a person who possesses such knowledge and information. Also an incident might be so significant (fatality or environmental incident) which might require you to be reached immediately so that you can initiate your own internal crisis management program.
