2022 DG Symposium

Join Director of Operations Center Joe Milazzo on October 12 for his presentation at the 2022 DG Symposium, "CHEMTREC - What Happens When a Call Comes In?" Joe will give an overview of emergency response call center operations, how CHEMTREC operates, and several significant case studies on how CHEMTREC was able to assist on historic incidents using available resources and a worldwide network of professionals.

About Joe Milazzo

Joe Milazzo has been with CHEMTREC since 1988 and serves as the director of the Operations Center, where his responsibilities encompass complete operational overview and oversight of CHEMTREC emergency services. He has attended several industry hazmat training sessions with various chemical manufacturer response teams, including one of the few that trained with live chemicals. He previously served as the CHEMTREC Training Coordinator where he designed operational and company-specific training. He is a 2007 graduate of the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch Communication Center manager course.
