2019 CHEMTREC International Hazmat Summit Program Announced

WASHINGTON (July 31, 2019) - CHEMTREC®, a service of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), announced its first hazmat summit, will take place in Houston, TX from October 29 – 31, 2019, at the Westin Houston Memorial City.

The three-day CHEMTREC International Hazmat Summit will be the premier destination to discuss the key topics of today and the trends of tomorrow. The 2019 program includes sessions about complying with regulatory training requirements, lifecycle of a spill, improving carrier relationships, powering the future with lithium batteries, as well as regional and regulatory updates.

In addition to the technical program; The Summit will be featuring a keynote discussion from Astronaut Mike Mullane. Mr. Mullane will deliver a powerful message on the individual’s role in keeping themselves and their teams’ safe in hazardous environments. We also look forward to a demonstration by the Harris County Hazmat Team.
